The sacrifice of unfailing love

The beauty of Easter is not only a get-together with family with dinner, candy, and the things with eggs. It’s about on that 3rd day Jesus died and rose again from the dead, leaving that tomb empty. That 1st day Jesus took the sacrifice as the Lamb of God, an example of humility in front of everyone even His 12 apostles, He surrendered to the obedience to God, and exuded the mysterious unconditional love of God. Who God the Father, in human form, known as Christ Jesus, put on that cross to die for us. Overcome the world. To make it even better, He chose us. He knows us by name.

He had come to Earth leaving the flawless and infinite dwelling of Heaven in the fashion He did: in a manger in a barn. Later in life subjecting Himself to the submission to God putting on the crown of thorns from the Romans, and taking all that He preached and taught on Earth with Him on that cross. But you would think that once Jesus died His teachings and ministry went with it on that cross? His movement died with Him. He did in sacrifice for us to finally be saved by God the Father. Everything Jesus set out to do on Earth blossomed into ways we don’t understand, it’s an echo throughout time that cannot be silenced. In just His short yet life-changing ministry that all we need to do is believe in Him wholeheartedly and submit to the real truth that Christ had preached and lived daily in flawless. But acknowledging the fact we are flawed severely and need Jesus every day. He wants us to live for Him. He took our sin away so we have no debt of wrongdoing nor judgment upon us, for God would look as His sacrifice He made in Jesus.

Initially, we’d think what would make wretches like us in this world ever be included in the aspect of unconditional, unfailing, and heavenly love be given to us from a man who is God? This Jesus of Nazareth all for the fact He wants intimate personal relationships with us, to let us be strongly dependent on Him, and to be with Him as disciples carrying their cross daily.

Whenever you look to that Cross, Jesus has done it all. He’s conquered the grave and death!

“Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying” John 11:25 (NLT).

“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit” John 19:30 (NKJV).

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay” Matthew 28:6 (NKJV).

“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭(NLT).‬‬
