We’ve all been tossed to and fro; and rung through the wringer. I took a step back to observe such things. Believers are up against a battle from the time we wake until we sleep. And when I talk or others; presumably pastors talk about warfare, the name gives it away. But am I meaning warfare, where it entails tanks, rockets, and guns? No, spiritual warfare attacking the visible humans of today is more potent than worldly warfare. It will only worsen, satan and his fleet are upon the world’s people, and even for the church. It’s already transpiring in many recent instances. Succinctly, to put it, worldly warfare happens when the spiritual realm wants more power and energy from fear and domination. But is also trying to throw mud upon God and capture as many people in the world. It happens by the influence of very manipulative entities of the unseen to create an abundance of unrest and outcry of hate.
Churches, believe it or not, are as well being attacked. It’s satan causing rifts in the church with individuals and the congregation or “friends.” The strategies behind it can attack the church, and it isn’t even about you going to church. It’s about turning the people of the church against you by posing as followers of Christ Jesus.
I’m sure you’ve heard Jesus say this, “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit” Matthew 7:15-17 (NLT). He made it clear who is one of His by their fruits.
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” Luke 10:19 (NKJV).
“And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light” 2 Corinthians 11:14 (NKJV).
You see, the devil can be everywhere and transform himself into an angel of light, just as he used to be. The dark powers enjoy using the manipulation tactic. Also, that the devil will do anything in his power to be higher than Almighty God, which means that satan is attacking the church, people, or whatever gets in his path with no remorse. It is a constant battle.
We shall fear not a thing, the battle is the Lord’s, and it is for us to have courage in this never-ending fight. We have to watch our backs. We need to have our confidence in God and not be fooled or be fearful or tricked into the snares. He will not let us fall, trust me. Your anxiousness and fear will be no more in the power of Jesus. Worship and praise and the Word of God is a solid weapon to our fear and this warfare. This warfare will not drag you down any further, not even as far as the oceans go, nor the most bottomless abyss of hell. We are walking on the righteous and victorious right hand of God that even when we fall, He has us.
Warfare is such a thing that people and believers should take to heart. Studied and valued in strength. Churches who talk lightly about this are sensitive to talking about sin and repentance, eternal life, but will rejoice in great joy in having people fill the seats, so it’s something to brag about. Or even better, shape the Gospel to the world. As believers need to watch out for satan because he’s always in the shadows, he can manifest into many things. Being familiarized with the dark forces’ powers will help you better discern their intense, very manipulative, potent, and want only destruction and toxicity control. But they can’t live up to the legions of angels bound to you by God Almighty. These warfare occurrences are ritualistic as the devil, and his practices of darkness are demonic and negative. It is to inflict hell among the living and godly. But the solution to overcoming darkness and not repaying evil with evil is with the very Light that can’t outshine nor shut down is Jesus and God’s Word.
The dark forces is a real thing. God is real, His powers are real, and Heaven is real.
