Standing strong in the Lord against the world

I am going to start off the year right with this tab bit longer writing. Please enjoy!

It’s a new year, but that may not change the projection. You may be afraid, hurt, confused, pained, sad, or even struck with the notion there is no hope, even with what happened recently. I want to say there is hope in Jesus. He is our light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel and will get you across. Even though all the broken pieces of it all, the Lord is sovereign, loving, and welcoming. We must acknowledge God’s sovereignty. The devil amplifies your emotions and will shape them into lies that he knows you’ll end up believing. Please do not believe it.

What goes on out in the world, I know it hurts, it’s because you want things to change, but we need to leave that up for Jesus; He has a plan and victory for every plan that He has. Remember, the Lord has conquered the world. God had not given up on you, nor would He ever. For one to accustom the lies, they’re being told. It’s the demise of the devil to make you feel like there’s no other way through or out. We can’t subject ourselves to such blasphemy he will whisper in our ears. We need to subject ourselves to God’s laws, purposes, plans, and will for us. And what is real and right. There can’t be hope for this world by any means unless the world puts Jesus at the front, and they are at the foot of the cross.

Our time of hate is becoming stronger. Its resistance to righteousness shows. Even persecution is getting a lot higher. The tension is too. We Christians need to stand firm in the Lord and remember who is in charge, and not let ourselves become heavy. We have to spiritually and mentally stay strong and clothe ourselves in the armor of God, and not get sucked into the negative whirlwind satan is strategizing in many directions. We’ve been given a small window to decipher his sneaking that tries to force us to give up or stay weak and hopeless. The devil will not win.

“God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theris” Matthew 5:10 (NLT).

This verse,

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” Isaiah 14:12-14 (KJV).

And the book of Revelation gives me enough hope that we will be okay; it will all work out. Whatever the world and the enemy can throw at us, we can overcome, adapt, and fight as we are children of the Most High. We must not find ourselves doubting about the Lord or His works, nor anything. His plans are more prominent than ours. We can have doubts about things, but we need to quickly realize that the broken things or thoughts of “can’t” or “don’t think it’ll work” should be turned into the Lord has conquered it all. You can do everything through Christ. It’s what the enemy wants to hear: that we just can’t, or there’s no hope—so we should go lament. God’s plans and works bring great fruit, a harvest indeed, do not doubt God. This war is going to be tough. Our persecution and strength, and faith in hardships are what show we are real followers of Christ. It’s not about followers or following, but living Christlikeness in discipleship.

“The more like Christ you are, the more the world will treat you like they treated Christ. Maybe you don’t get much persecution because there’s not much similarity.” —John MacArthur.

In every time of sadness, rage, or contempt, sing a new song and acknowledge that our God is Almighty. He has plans that you wouldn’t believe. All feelings and sadness shall be no more. Bring all that you have, all that you are, and drop yourself at the throne and humble thyself before Him. He will give you strength, meaning, purpose, and living hope.

Just because of what’s going on shouldn’t affect you enough to rethink yourself if God is still Mighty or His plans are still ensuing, don’t let these temporary emotions depict what you think God is. You’re blinding yourself with what’s affecting you and evading the truth. You’re allowing the enemy to take over. I’m telling you God’s plans are ensuing right before our eyes. It’s for us to let ourselves see it, receive it, and tune ourselves with God’s voice.

You can say that you love others, but you can’t forgive others too? We have to do both of them. Do you know why it’s hard for some to do both of them? Because it takes humility and mercy to rid your pride and self to do what God has asked us to do. Why does it take humility and compassion? Because God is merciful with us when we come to Him. When we are humble and express humility, we can give mercy to others as He shows mercy to us. Without His mercy, we’d all be in hell.

“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment” James 2:13 (NKJV).

“He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit” Titus 3:5 (NLT).
