There is a plan, and that’s God’s plan. We weren’t promised an easy-going life, some days or weeks will be good, and the others will be tough. I’m here to say that you’re tough too. You have that strength, you’re a child of God, but you need to tap into that. Here are a few verses I feel God wants us to know, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength” Philippians 4:13 (NLT). “That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong” 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NLT).

“Trials tend to show us the bankruptcy of human resources, and wean us off the world, and sort of settle us on the heavenly hope.” —John MacArthur.

Don’t let yourself suffer as if there isn’t something for it. We suffer for a purpose. When you’re weak, you are strong! Suffering isn’t the best, but that’s what Christ had done that for us on the cross. He didn’t say pick up your own cross and follow me for nothing. It’s going to cost you everything you have. It’s a tough, grueling journey that we have to do to follow God. He had meaning and purpose as to why—as you know—so stand firm in the Lord. There is something for it, strength in the Lord’s presence, and He has victory over Satan and the dark forces he sends out constantly.

God is like our water source too, when we thirst from the overbearing sides of life, we come and drink from the source; God. And when we drink from the source, God, we have the immediate power of strength given to us by the Holy Spirit, who then comes to gives us a drink of strength, not just of plain water, but strengthening water.

I, too, take pleasure in my weaknesses and hardships even though they can be adamant. Because I know that I will be risen in strength and take courage, knowing my God is for me.

Trust me on this. God said things become challenging; we’ll have trials—and it’s when God wants you to be at your strongest and stand firm and trust in Him as God has conquered it all. God has a plan! God said, focus on me. I am the one in charge. Which I say this with utmost confidence, Jesus will always guide you through the darkness of the forest to show you there are beautiful things that can happen when you trust Him. But you must have faith. Take a look at this verse, “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him” Hebrews 11:6 (NLT).
