Dark times at its best

What’s happening and for why?

As you may know, these days of this year haven’t been the best. For you may be wondering as to why is that? Is it human society? Yes and no. Is it you? I hope not. I will say that we’re in a war with the unseen, and the enemy will take up the empty space that’s been offered to them and have at it.

Too many people (not saying all people) are trying to show everyone who’s right and who’s wrong, lead in judgment, and expect why they’re judged back. Through everything and anything, whether it is not serving others because they’re for this thing or not, ones who straight-up destroy property for no logical reason because they feel judged or empowered to serve “justice.” They think the duties they’ve been so-called granted in the name of “serving justice” “moving a moment” can entail judging, well let me say something, who are you to judge?

Yet either “teams” are doing the right, it’s equally unrighteous, self-centered, and is an injustice in itself. The people precisely do what they’re against and wonder why they are getting nowhere. The people complain to all, “why isn’t anyone hearing us? why is no one for us?”

If we can start now rather than later leave things to God through prayer, we will be in better shape than when we walked into prayer or doing it our way. We can’t do it our way. But that is for another time. Above all, that is to show the differences between the approaches in slim detail. It also shows the world is in danger by the unseen. The war we’re in is something very real.

You’re wondering why this unequal and hate presence started, I will touch on it briefly but not too much. The devil and man were rebelling against God. The devil was against all things God (and still is). God knew what would happen to His son Jesus who was betrayed and put to death on the cross but rose again by God’s mighty power! He didn’t want Jesus to go through the trials and rot of death. I will say the world hated Jesus, and they will hate you. “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first” John 15:18 (NLT). That subject will be right for another time.

What you should know

During these dark times, the enemy is among the very darkness that is ensuing. But you don’t have to be alone through this. Jesus is here for you, me, and all believers who come to Him. He is the one who can light up the soul. Look at James 4:7 (NLT), “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Scriptures to consider

Although these are only a few, they show you God isn’t going anywhere.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” Isaiah 41:10 (NLT).

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” Revelation 3:20 (KJV).

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline” 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT).

We can also rest assured that God’s promise of telling us that He’s not leaving us throughout the OT and NT Bibles is what He means. He’s not going anywhere!

What can also be helpful

What I wrote to myself can be something useful to you when you’re hurting or are feeling spiritually naked or uneasy:

“I am hurting even when my waters are rocky, I’ve been tossed to and fro. The storms are brewing, but still, through it all, His faithfulness is my shield. He is the defender of my heart. I cry out onto Him. All I could do is stay still, worship, and believe the Lord would hear me. In the stillness is where you can feel Him most. I sought the Lord, and He rescued me from the chaos of this world, the darkness and lies and sicknesses it entails within the time we live in. He pulled me aside, comforted me by giving me the Full armor of God. I fear not as the Lord stands by me, defends me, and is girded. For the Lord goes before me, all around me, to protect me. I may not see it, but I believe it, not by sight, but by faith! I will clothe myself spiritually with His armor.”

The bottom line

It’s about our faith in Him, knowing He won’t leave us, or that He will avenge for us. He certainly won’t leave us and will undoubtedly avenge us and do things for us. But we need to have faith and understand things done by God on His timing and not ours. Lastly, God is a God of justice. And when we don’t take things into our hands (unless He called us to do so through His Spirit), He will avenge us by working on our behalf. We shouldn’t ever get even at another, even if they’ve wronged us or betrayed us. “Never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God,” “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord” Romans 12:19 (NLT).

That wraps this one up. Please let me know what you think and if you would like to see more of something like this. 🙂
